Volkswagen up! its game with the addition of extra doors and new derivatives

Up, up and away!

The ever growing appeal of the Volkswagen's small car, up! has been further boosted with the addition of extra doors, two new lifestyle derivatives, cross up! and colour up! as well as infotainment option, Touch & More.

Since its local launch in February 2015, up! has only been offered as a 3-door model. Customers now have an option of buying a 5-door or 3-door Take up! and Move up! derivatives.

Furthermore, two new derivatives have been added into the model range. Both are powered by the 1.0 litre, 55kW engine and mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The new smart fortwo & forfour: Adding a new shine to a proven concept

The new Lexus LC 500h coupe features the luxury brand's next generation hybrid power system, offering an enhanced driving experience with increased performance and efficiency.

Subaru updates vehicle range for 2016

The Subaru XV range was introduced to South Africa in 2012. One of the hallmarks of the refreshed XV is its athletic, confident and bold styling.

At the front of the car, the hexagonal front grille has now been tweaked with a larger chrome split wing. The shape of the front bumper has also been revised to include accented chrome plating that now surrounds the fog lamps and gives the car a more modern look. The Subaru common motif has also been slightly extended and the HID headlamps now include white indicator bulbs, bringing the XV more in line with the rest of the Subaru line-up.

Tata unveils a host of new models

Tata Motors, India’s largest vehicle manufacturer, is sticking to its promise to introduce new products every year. It displayed a host of new models at the 2016 Auto Expo in India. All or some of these new models could be imported to South Africa after the various derivatives have undergone local static product clinics and dynamic evaluation on test tracks and public roads.

These new products form the company’s front line in its transformation journey to become a bigger player in the global motor industry with vehicles having universal appeal.
